Capturing More with VideoBadge2 Body Worn Video

New to the Edesix product suite is VideoBadge2, designed and developed in conjunction with police customers to deliver improved functionality and evidence capture on the frontline.

Body worn video is proven to help increase safety and prevent incidents from escalating as behaviour is moderated by the presence of the video camera. Increasingly the technology is being adopted by the police not only to calm aggressive situations and capture evidence, but also to improve transparency and trust with the public.

VideoBadge2 provides a number of unique features, not found in other body worn video systems:

8 hours of continuous recording with 72 hours of battery standby, ensuring it is always on hand when needed.
The pre-record function enables users to define a set duration i.e. 1 or 2 minutes, to pre-record footage so that events are captured from before the on switch is activated. This extra buffer can be crucial when incidents unfold at a fast pace to help determine the trigger if an offence is committed.

And to capture more of the action, VideoBadge2 has a 150⁰ extra wide viewing angle, particularly useful for patrols in crowded areas.

VideoBadge2 is backed by VideoManager, the intuitive back-office software which controls the storage, retrieval, secure data encryption and configurable user access management to maintain data integrity from camera to courtroom.
