Forensic Telecommunications Services Ltd. opens Leading Edge Audio Forensics Division
Forensic Telecommunications Services Ltd. (FTS) are pleased to announce the official opening of a new Audio Forensics Division to support and enhance their services to Law Enforcement, Legal Services and Corporate Services Clients.
The new division will be managed and led by experienced audio expert Alan French. Alan brings more than 20 years experience in forensic audio services, having handled in excess of 3000 cases during his time at the Metropolitan Police audio laboratory and at two other independent forensics service providers.
Full expert witness support will be provided as part of the Audio Forensic Service along with audio enhancement, examination, analysis, expert transcription, recording, mastering & copying services and scene attendance where required.
The FTS audio forensic laboratory will be equipped with a full range of state of the art audio capture and processing systems including the latest generation CEDAR® Forensic Audio Processing hardware and software.
In addition to leading this new division FTS's Mobile Phone & Hi-Tech Devices divisions will benefit from Alan's enormous experience in methods and protocols for handling and processing audio evidence and data being retrieved from the latest generation of phone handsets Hi-Tech devices.
A key aspect of the division's work will also include providing dedicated training in Audio Forensics to authorities and government agencies both in the UK and across FTS's international clients.
Alan French said: I have known FTS for a number of years and have always been impressed by their professionalism and solid reputation amongst the Law enforcement agencies. When the opportunity arose to join them I jumped at the chance and I look forward developing this new division and to introducing this new service capability to existing and new FTS clients.
Jonathan Clark said: Adding new complimentary services to FTS's core mobile phone and Hi-tech Device forensics divisions is a key part of our strategic development plan. We have been planning the introduction of an Audio Forensics Division for some time. Alan French has extensive experience in this area along with a longstanding reputation as an expert in this field within the Law Enforcement community. The opportunity to start our new Audio Forensics Division with Alan French managing the department will allow FTS to deliver a credible and professional service from the outset.
The new division is completely operational and is operating from a new FTS laboratory based in Ipswich to serve the Anglia region for all of FTS forensic services.
