Jordan Aerospace Industries Delivers the first Sama CH2000

Jordan Aerospace Industries (JAI) delivers the first Jordanian made aircraft Sama CH2000 to the Mid-East Aviation Academy in a deal that included the purchase of 2 aircraft followed by another 6.

"JAI had manufactured this model in its plant located in a private free zone in Queen Alia International Airport� captain Muayad Al Samaraee President & CEO of JAI says. The Sama CH2000 delivery on December 30th 2003 was attended by high-ranking officials and members of the press. The Jordanian made Sama CH2000 priced at $129,000 is a full IFR training aircraft that includes advanced avionics and is considered to be top of its class.

The two-seater light plane will be used for training over 200 students currently enrolled din the academy. According to Al Sameraee JAI owns the manufacturing and marketing rights for all its products in 97 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He added that JAI manufactures and sells 9 different products that were showcased during JAI's successful participation in the Dubai 2003 airshow.

JAI's airplanes have various applications ranging from flight training to patrol and surveillance to civil defense, police and custom department uses. The airplanes are also used for aerial photography, agricultural spraying and geoploaration as well as for marketing, advertising, sports and recreational activities.

HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein who visited JAI's stand in Dubai 2003 airshow several times had praised the company and its Jordanian products, adding that companies such as JAI helps in strengthening the aviation sector in Jordan.
