L-3 Security & Detection Systems Provides Brazilian Airports with Detection Systems for Baggage Handling
L-3 Security & Detection Systems (SDS) announced today that it will supply Rio de Janeiro's Galeão International Airport and Sao Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport with its eXaminer® systems and other detection equipment to be used in the airports' first fully automated baggage handling and sorting systems.
L-3 SDS will deliver several screening solutions to the airports' baggage handling systems and services supplier, Vanderlande Industries. These include the eXaminer® 3DX and eXaminer® SX computed tomography systems, MVT-HR® automated high-speed explosives detection systems, as well as OptiNetâ„¢ networking and service to help clear more bags with less staff.
