Criminals and terrorists constantly change their tactics - governments must do the same if they are to stay ahead of evolving threats at international borders.  Increasingly, governments are turning to biometrics as a valuable tool which denies anonymity and definitively identifies travelers of interest.

Ben Ball, Government Market Director at Crossmatch, spoke at the World Border Congress about the strong value of biometrics for border management.  Traditional biographic systems are no longer sufficient to identify the full range of threats.  Biometrics, on the other hand, cut through document fraud and impostor tactics to definitively identify subjects of interest.
