Satcom Direct Offers 500 minutes of Swift 64 service with Aero Xâ„¢
In a move extending its previous deadline, Satcom Direct, Inc. announced today that all new customers who activate their High-Speed Data terminals with Aero Xâ„¢ High Speed Data service before February 28, 2006 will receive 500 minutes of Swift 64 service, at no charge.
The Aero Xâ„¢ service is an exclusive, patent pending, Satcom Direct offering that enables corporate and military aircraft users to see an increase of 100-400% with Swift 64 data rates by installing the CNX-200 from EMS Satcom. This provides a significant increase in current Swift 64 data rates for its Inmarsat customers by using Satcom Direct's proprietary compression algorithms and EMS Satcom's Cabin Network Accelerator, the CNX-200, to obtain data speeds of up to 500kbps-1Mbps.
Offering increased data rates worldwide, Satcom Direct's new Aero Xâ„¢ technology solution is compatible with HSD systems from all major Satcom manufacturers including EMS, Thrane and Thrane, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins and Chelton. Since the introduction of Aero Xâ„¢ in July 2005, Satcom Direct has activated nearly 10 customers and responded to more than 20 additional inquiries.
