The Chairman John Donlon, welcomed delegates from around the world on behalf of Minister of Interior, Spain to the start of the World Border Security Congress in Madrid with opening remarks from Maria Jesus Herrera, Head of Mission in Spain, IOM- Rasa Ostrauskaite, Director, Transnational Threats Department, OSCE and James Douglass, President, European Association of Airport & Seaport Police (EAASP)
Opening Keynotes were delivered by Comisario Ppal Enrique Rodriguez Ulla, Chief Commissioner from the Office of the Secretary General of the General Commissioner For Foreigners and Borders and Major General Abdelghani Hamel, Director General of National Security, Algeria & President of the General Assembly of AFRIPOL
