ClanTect will be showcasing its powerful 2nd Generation Motion Detection Systems at the World Border Security Congress, which is taking place at the Sheraton Casablanca Hotel and Towers in Morocco from 19th-21st March 2019.

With the global Migration Crisis continuing unabated, border control has never been more important. Figures from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) suggest there are currently 68.5 million forcibly displaced people worldwide, with 25.4 million refugees and 3.1 million asylum-seekers.

The World Border Security Congress draws security professionals, operators and other interested stakeholders from around the world for industry expert presentations and to view the very latest in security technology. Managing Director of ClanTect, Professor Steve Daley comments, “The Congress, is a great opportunity for us to show case, how our Motion Detection Systems are enabling the Border Agencies to secure and protect the border crossings, at land, sea and rail. Our system is often the ‘last line of defence’ to stop illegal clandestine crossings”.

Steve continues, “Our systems are used by UK Border Force, and other organisations. We have shown that our systems have made an enormous difference in stemming the flow of human trafficking. Equally important, our systems are specially designed to handle the challenges of border vehicle inspection. We can electronically search multiple vehicles at the same, we’re able to operate continuously despite background noises from passing traffic, engineering works, road works and from the impact of waves at coastal ports. The system is not only fast and safe, it’s robust (working on a 24 x 7 basis), very easy to operate and most importantly, it’s extremely accurate. No. matter what, we will detect any hidden human presence in the vehicles”.

Steve concludes, “We are really excited at the prospect of meeting many new people, who are involved in border security, from around the world. If you are attending, please be sure to come and meet our team and learn more about how our technology can help.” ClanTect will be appearing on Stand 3 - for more details on the event and details on how to attend please visit: www.world-border-congress.com.
