HENKEL SELECTS AVIALL TO DISTRIBUTE PRODUCTS FOR MRO MARKETS
Henkel Corp. and Aviall Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aviall, Inc., have reached an agreement that will make Aviall Services an authorized distributor of Henkel aerospace products in the United States. Beginning Dec. 1, 2005, Aviall Services will market and distribute Henkel products primarily to MRO operations (maintenance, repair and overhaul).
Through this affiliation with Aviall Services, Henkel will have access to 27 strategically-placed stocking locations in North America for its aerospace products. The agreement allows Henkel to address its requirement for a full-line MRO distributor for its customers and increase its market presence by aligning with an MRO-focused business partner.

Lyndon Smith, General Manager and Vice President for the aerospace group of Henkel states that "the distribution agreement benefits our customers by combining the strengths of Aviall in logistics, delivery and service, with the global products of Hysol structural adhesives and Turco surface treatments for aircraft repair and refurbishment."
Product lines primarily involved in the agreement are Henkel's:
• Turco and Alodine brands of metal surface treatments and conversion coatings,
• Hysol brand of structural adhesives
Aviall Services will also continue to market and distribute Loctite® products from Henkel. The Loctite® brand represents engineering adhesives, sealants and coatings for original equipment and MRO applications.
