More Drone and Missile Strikes Against Saudi Arabia

According to reports in Turkey’s Anadolu Agency the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen said Wednesday it had intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone fired by Houthi rebels towards southern Saudi Arabia territories.

"Coalition joint forces managed to intercept and destroy an unmanned explosive-laden drone fired by the Houthi militia towards the southern area of the Kingdom," coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said in a statement cited by the official Saudi Press Agency.

However, a Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarei claimed that “The UAV air force managed to target the airfields of the warplanes in Abha International Airport by a Qasef-2K drone that hit its target precisely”.

On Thursday coalition spokesman Col. al-Maliki said that it had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired towards Jizan in southwestern Saudi Arabia, by Houthi rebels.
