BQT's Solutions receives $286K order for State Transit Authority Buses
BQT Solutions Limited (ASX:BQT) is pleased to announce it has received an order for supply of its Intelligent Video Module (IVM), valued at $286,000.
The IVM will complement the CCTV systems currently being installed in the State Transit Authority buses in Sydney. It will provide the STA the ability to maximise its capital investment by utilising the security surveillance system to also generate revenue through the form of advertising.
Advertising material is stored on the buses onboard DVR (Digital Video Recorder) along with the CCTV surveillance footage captured by the buses cameras. The advertisements are converted from an IP to VGA format through the IVM and it integrates the two systems together to display and sequence the advertising on the LCD screens.
This order is only the first stage of the total bus fleet rollout.
